Unsturdy

This basket, wich was installed at the store is not sturdy and keeps falling off the bike. Now hinges are now missing. I wasted money on this purchase and would have been better off just using a milk crate.

Installed at the store. The basket is not sturdy and keeps falling off the bike. I paid around fifty bucks for it. My neighbour laughs at me because he attached a milk crate with string that cost him only a few bucks. Last week in front of that building, the basket fell onto the sidewalk and a bunch of eggs broke all over my groceries. I hold my head down like a shamed dog when I pass that building now.

big but...

Pros:
Lightweight
Cons:
Weak
Best Uses:
the velcro strap broke the first time I tried to use it for shopping, it broke when I was putting it on the bike (empty), it didn't actually slide off the back of my bike getting it home, but there were moments when I needed to hang onto it. Will need something to keep it attached to the bike without sliding.
