Description

When the greenbelt path turns to dirt, pedal on with pleasure aboard the Whistler 30 urban bike. Wide WTB tires provide plenty of traction for tackling crushed gravel paths, while the 700c wheels roll smoothly on paved surfaces. A 27-speed drivetrain offers a wide range of gearing to get you over the hills and keep you moving along the flats, and powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide increased control on steep descents and in wet conditions so you can get home safely. A comfortable flat handlebar, supportive WTB saddle, and a relaxed riding position all come together to create a multi-purpose machine that's ready for commutes to work, fast-paced fitness rides, and general around-town use.

Very Happy With This Bike

Pros:
Lightweight, Comfortable, Well Equipped
Cons:
Best Uses:
Commuting, City Paths
I commute to work every day with this bike and it's been very reliable and comfortable so far. I have a Thule child's seat attached and it works great. I haven't tried it on a trail yet, but it handles streets and paths very well. It feels strong and sturdy, which is good because I'm pretty hard on my stuff! My one complaint is that both pedals broke after a couple months - they just split in half and broke off from regular use. I like the smaller pedals better anyway, but it's disappointing that these are obviously cheaper components. Otherwise the bike has held up well and meets my needs perfectly.
