The Fairdale Weekender Nomad MX's nine-syllable name might not roll off the tongue, but it will roll over pretty much anything else with style. We based this bike loosely on some of our employee's custom builds. It has the massive range, and smooth shifting of the Weekender Nomad's SRAM Apex drivetrain mated to our MX handlebar's more upright riding position. The rugged Chromoly steel Weekender frame adapts to this fun-to-ride configuration happily and makes short or long rides a blast. This model is an in-house favorite, and we think it could be yours too. Best commuter bike, period - Still saying it, still meaning it! As Always we put a lot of thought in to how we design and spec with some significant updates to this years 2020 model. New Graphics, and now with a full range 2x 9 speed drivetrain with a far greater than 1:1 gear ratio. What has not changed, fame is shaped and butted 6061 Alloy, it is more resistant to cracking than a 7000 series alloy frame. Sealed bearing pedals are rare at this price level. They work well with regular shoes, are low profile, will last, will take old school toe clips and straps, or can be sold separately if you upgrade the bike to clipless pedals. Contact points are also well thought out, the saddle is non-branded and well received by most users, and the grips are clamped on and are ergonomically shaped with dual density material. Of course it has all the mounts and clearance needed for fenders and racks. Comes in 6 frame sizes, so it accommodate riders from under 5’ to over 6.5’.

For intrepid explorers, the Beyond Junior is a bike built specifically for youngsters. Geometry from its elder siblings scaled-down plus 24-inch wheels, a nimble aluminium frame, and flared bars keep the bike manageable for smaller riders. Being smaller doesn’t mean you need to bring less with you either – the Beyond Junior still has the full range of mounting points as its developed counterparts. Tektro Lyra disc brakes provide adult-sized stopping power, and a 9-speed Microshift Advent drivetrain gives it welly to boot. Even the specifically designed ergonomic levers suit children’s hands.

Available in either our latest matt black or the existing matt pewter finish, we built our affordable Munroe AL based on a light, responsive aluminium frame, with a simple single-chainring drivetrain and competent 650B tyres. Its simplicity keeps maintenance to a minimum, while flat bars ensure comfort in all conditions. Reliable disc brakes respond well even in the rain. With Bombtrack’s signature range of multiple luggage configurations, the constant stop-start of riding through the city has never been this fun.

The Babboe City Mountain is based on the best-selling "bakfiets" City but on steroids. Combining the awesome Yamaha 250w mid-drive electric motor and the step-less Nuvinci 330 gear hub you can get up to speed no matter how much weight you are carrying and then stop on a dime with the powerful hydraulic disc brakes. With its low-slung frame and cargo bin, the centre of balance is stable and the drive from the Yamaha motor is controlled and comfortable resulting a cargo bike that is faster and more maneuverable.
