Handlebars

$154.99
The VO Crazy Bars are intended for touring on paved and unpaved roads, single and double track, gravel and crushed limestone, and everything in between. The main, swept back section provides excellent control and leverage on rough and tumble surfaces, while the the bullhorn section offers an aero position for smoother roads and headwinds. The junction of the horns and sweeps feels similar to being on the hoods of drop bars and makes for a nice, neutral position. The main bar uses a 22.2mm grip area so MTB grips, levers, and shifters fit. The "horns" are 23.8mm, so road components like bar ends and inverse levers are compatible. The stem clamp area is 31.8mm. Crazy Bars are made from 6061 aluminum and are heat treated. Weight is a reasonable 532g. They are MTB-rated and available in sand-blasted Silver and Noir. Specs: Width: 780mm Sweep: 35 deg Rise: 40mm Grip length: 205mm Horn Width: 420mm Horn Length: 110mm Stem Clamp: 31.8mm Grip (sweeps): 22.2mm Grip (extensions): 23.8mm Weight: 532g

In today’s fast-paced world of riseless flat bars and far-too-aggressive-for-our-liking cockpits, Surly harkens back to simpler times. They wanted a handlebar that would suffice for a relaxed cruise to a favorite windowless bar, but would also be suitable should a person decide to take the long way home. The Sunrise Bar is a cruiser bar, a trail bar, and a BMX bar all rolled into one. It has a 22.2mm clamp diameter, but Surly included some Problem Solvers shims so you can mount it up to your fancy 31.8mm stem. These bars may look unconventional but the bottom line is that they flat out provide better handling and more comfort than a traditional bar. A wide range of better hand and body positions ensure more power, comfort and control. 45 degrees of sweep puts your wrists in a natural and relaxed position for lasting comfort. Jones H-Bars are available in three styles: Loop, Cut, Bend. The Loop H-Bar is the most full-featured of the three: it has the widest range of positions, the most mounting options for gadgets and lights, and is the stiffest. The Cut H-Bar is almost identical to a Loop, but it loses the center section of the loop, and because of this it has less room to mount your gadgets. It's also not as stiff because the two grip tubes don't connect in the center. The Bend H-Bar is an H-Bar stripped-down to its bare essentials: long, 45 degree grip areas for amazing comfort and a few very good hand positions. It's a great way to get the amazing feel of a Jones H-Bar even if you don't need the whole range of positions and mounting locations. Most material/style combinations are available in two widths: 660mm and 710mm. Both have the same basic positions and the same shape, but the 710mm version adds a fully-upright position at the back of the grip area. This is a great position to have for touring and any kind of riding where you might want to sit fully upright without needing access to the controls. The 660mm version is best for navigating very tight singletrack or narrow city/commuting situations. The 710mm is our most popular width, and has laser-etched cut guides so you can cut it down to the 660mm width.

Burgtec's first range of signature handlebars developed with, yes you've guessed it! Josh Bryceland. Josh loved the sweep and rise of the Ride Wide Bars but asked us to make him something a bit higher. The Rat isn't one of those guys that's 'crazy' on setup, but he knows what he wants. - 38MM RISE: Back in 2018 Josh's idea was for something more versatile that he could use on all his bikes. After testing various prototypes, he finally narrowed it down to a 38mm rise bar, the perfect sweet spot. The first material thought was Carbon but after getting to ride various Alloy prototypes he just got more comfortable on Alloy. So, the 38mm "Ride High" was born. The same unsurpassed comfort and durability as all of the Ride Wide range, but just a little Higher. - 50MM RISE: It's fair to say high rise bars have taken a back seat over the last decade much in part to the increasing wheel sizes pushing up front ends of bikes and riders trying to match their previous riding positions. After first coming to us a little over 3 years ago and deciding on the 38mm rise bar Josh wanted to quite literally raise the bar once again. We'd previously prototyped the 50mm bar alongside the 38s but at the time just felt they looked out of place. With more riders moving towards 29ers we felt the market just wasn't ready for them. Josh quickly adapted to the 38s but still felt he was running a lot of stack on his bikes. So with more frequency, he was popping in to Burgtec HQ asking if we had any of the 50mm rise bars left. In the end, we ran out of prototype bars, and Rats a very persuasive guy so we just decided to go into production with the 50s. For Josh, he loves how the higher rise allows for more maneuverability as well as getting rid of the excess stack height. Plus, being a taller rider, they keep his weight where he wants it and freely admits "It's easier on my back". The bars are a natural fit for Jump bikes but as Josh and the boys show they are equally at home on bigger travel trail bikes too. - Width: 800mm - Rise: 38mm, 50mm - Available in 35mm clamp only. - Backsweep: 9° - Upsweep: 5° - Weight: 38mm Rise = 346g, 50mm Rise = 391g
