It can be hard to love Edmonton. Love can’t be forced, it just happens but it’s not always sweet romance. Sometimes it hurts. And it doesn’t seem to matter where you come from; you can be an original or a transplant, Edmonton just gets in your blood. Like a virus. When Brandon Webber came up with “Still In Edmonton” it resonated with all of us in a way that's hard to describe. It’s said ruefully but, at the same time, with a stubborn pride. Because of this somewhat ambivalent relationship we have with this city we also very much enjoy the gently pejorative nicknames that Edmonton has earned. E-Ville is said with a chuckle, and a shake of the head. Deadmonton is the original. Coined in the ‘70s when it was much truer than it is now, it just rolls off the tongue. We can never decide whether to laugh or cry when our town is referred to as “The City of Champions”. Edmonchuk, Redmonton, River City; its residents fond regard has earned Edmonton a wide variety of “special” names not the least of which is Dirt City. We’ve always wanted to celebrate our unbreakable (despite our best efforts) connection to Edmonton and, with Brandon’s very kind assistance, our limited edition Dirt City jerseys are, we believe, a great follow up to “Still In Edmonton”. Ideal for hot riding days, the Equipe Pro Jersey will keep you dry and comfortable thanks to super light and well-ventilated fabrics. Diamond fabric is an exceptionally light stretch knit with a diamond-shaped construction that provides the fabric with good ventilation and moisture-wicking properties. The side panels of the jersey are made with Airfit Mesh, a stretchable fabric that provides flexibility and excellent moisture control thanks to a semi-opaque structure. The three back pockets provide storage for your ride essentials and are angled to allow easy access while riding, and the elastic hem keeps the jersey in place. - Louis Garneau's Standard Fit - Men's Jersey
