The exceptional profile and OneStar rubber compound make the Schwalbe X-One one of the fastest cross tires ever. To make it the absolute high-flyer, mount it without a tube on a tubeless-compatible wheel.
In combination with the right wheel, you can run tubeless tires for cyclocross with extremely low air pressures without fear of "burping" (unwanted air leakage). For instance, it works extremely well with the Iron Cross from No Tubes.

Tom broke ground when he developed Vector Force Analysis, bringing to market unique tread patterns that were directional and use specific. The first tire to receive all the benefits of VFA, MegaBite was highly successful for many of our 'cross riders. The return of the MegaBite sees the reintroduction of an extra wide tire and a lighter toothy tread pattern that's more supple than before and with a tubeless-ready casing.

The ultimate tire for speedy gravel adventures! At 55 mm wide, the Antelope Hill is our largest tire yet. We name our tires after the passes in the Cascade Mountains that have inspired them: Antelope Hill is the last great climb on the 360-mile Oregon Outback mixed-surface ride/race. Oregon's gravel is quite loose in places, and the extra floatation of the Antelope Hill tires gives you more speed and security when the going gets really rough.
Antelope Hill itself is a beautiful paved climb (photo), so we designed this tire to roll as fast and grip as well as a good racing tire. With this tire, you truly have the best of both worlds.
All Rene Herse tires combine the performance of high-end tubular tires with the convenience of clinchers and the width for all-road riding. The Standard casing is a more affordable option that also offers extra protection against sidewall cuts on sharp rocks. The Extralight casing takes the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level.
The Antelope Hill is tubeless-compatible in both standard and extralight casings.

From Rural to Urban
The energy-saving SUV allrounder that gets you to both Rural and Urban. The partner for your commute, running errands and the weekend tour.
PureGrip Compound
Based on activated silica compounds, this technology was originally intended as a performance-level compound, but after intensive development at our Korbach Research and Development Department Facility, an advanced new compound with outstanding grip and cross-country properties was developed. This new rubber mix, given the self-explanatory name "PureGrip", is ranked just behind our BlackChili Compound and is being used in our performance products both in the road and mountain bike sectors. While providing great grip, it is also long lasting and highly durable—both characteristics of Continental tires, which are exclusively manufactured in the factory in Hefei (Asia).
Shieldwall system
The ShieldWall system combines the optimum combination of high puncture protection and the low rolling resistance with low weight. This is made possible by an additional, all-round puncture protection layer, which consists of a finely woven cross fabric. This gives the tire a high resistance to punctures and damage. Despite its additional ply, the tire has a very good damping property and a high degree of flexibility to adapt perfectly to the ground. The revolutionary tubeless ready bead allows easy and uncomplicated mounting of the tire. For best results in sealing and in use, we recommend the use of the new Continental RevoSealant sealant.
Tubeless Ready
Developed especially for the mountain bike sector, this additional puncture-protection layer which completely encircles both tire beads makes our carcasses robust and impervious against damage and penetration from foreign objects. For maximum effect we combine ProTection with BlackChili Compound. The result: versatile, low weight and an attractive design. In addition, tires made using this technology can also be used as Tubeless Ready.
Suitable for E-Bikes
For our E-Bike tire we fall back on over 100 years' experience with moped and motorcycle tires. All of our city/trekking tires are rated to a standard speed of at least 25 km/h. Those tires marked e50 are also certified for S-Pedelecs. With their high-quality structure, puncture protection is high and the rolling resistance is low, offering protection from premature wear brought about by the additional driving force.

The Baby Limus is Challenge's all-around cyclocross tire designed for races with constantly changing conditions. This tire is ready to take on wet sand, sticky mud, or dry, fast, packed courses. This handmade tubular combines a supple, 320TPI sealed corespun cotton casing with natural rubber tread, and a seamless latex inner tube for improved grip at lower pressures, confident cornering, and quick handing. The latex tube is lighter, thinner, and more flexible than a butyl tube, increasing your comfort, lowering your rolling resistance, and helping to prevent flats. The tube also includes a removable core Presta valve. This tire includes PPS, a Puncture Protection System placed between the tread and casing to increase resistance to punctures.
Handmade
- Handmade tires combine many attributes to create the most comfortable and lowest rolling resistance tires.
Sealed Corespun Cotton
- To protect our cotton casings, we apply a special waterproof, bead-to-bead coating. This treatment keeps the casing lighter, softer, and more supple, extending the tire's life and brightness.
Soft
- The S stands for Softer and more Supple. This tire utilizes a softer durometer tread rubber especially valuable on track and cyclocross tires.
Latex
- Latex tubes are stronger, lighter, super supple, absorb shock, and conform precisely to terrain, reducing rolling resistance.
PPS
- The Puncture Protection Strip is a special fabric placed between a tire's tread and casing to increase resistance to punctures.

The Zipp G40 XPLR is a wide (40mm) tire designed for control, which translates in the gravel world to higher overall speed. In developing this tire, Zipp began with a speed-carrying chevron center-tread pattern that transitions to an inverted soccer cleat design, then added XC-style knobs on the edges that offer the ability to dig in when you need it. And, amid all this, durability was crucial.
The tire's casing and bead-to-bead puncture protection strip navigates the fine line between supple and stiff so that grip and performance do not suffer while making an incredibly durable gravel tire. The tire's 40mm width was carefully selected to be most effective with its tread pattern while also fulfilling riders' evolving preferences for wider tires during gravel events and off-pavement riding. It's just what you need for gnarly, all-day riding. It performs exceptionally well with Zipp's widest and most versatile 700c rim, the 303.
