This is Bud, a front-specific 4.8" tire designed for 559mm (“26 inch”) rims. While our 100mm Clown Shoe Rims will offer the most ground contact and the best shape profile, Bud (and his brother, Lou) will also work on rims down to 65mm wide. Bud’s aggressive mud- and snow-shedding tread is characterized by tall (7mm), siped knobs, arranged in a pattern ideal for the unique requirements of steering and braking. Our family of Dirt Wizards is highly-focused – one might even say spellbound – on providing traction and control on the kinds of surfaces where nary traction nor control are to be found. Its tread is comprised of a dual row of aggressive, trail-gobbling, beveled knobs in the center and well-spaced, siped knobs to dig into loose corners. Designed to work on 50mm rims, Dirt Wizards are tall and wide, providing next-level traction and cushioning. The casings have been designed to be flexible and responsive, yet durable and supportive. Minimum rim size for these naughty little wizards is a 35mm outer rim width. - Folding bead

Lou is the 26 x 4.8" rear-specific mate to Bud. Lou’s tread is much like Bud’s with tall knobs designed to grind, crawl, and claw its way over rooty, rocky, wet, muddy, loose, or otherwise inhospitable terrain. Lou’s tread pattern is a bit different, however, made for stability while both braking and accelerating. Its casing is durable, thin-walled, 120tpi which conforms well to the ground surface shape. - Folding Kevlar bead - Tubeless Ready
