Our bars feature a thicker layup made of 100% unidirectional carbon fiber and an oversized clamp that pairs well with any of our mountain stems. A proprietary shaped profile that incorporates flat surfaces and raised shoulders enhances rigidity without sacrificing weight. Install with carbon paste and tighten stem to a maximum of 7 Nm. Use only with carbon friendly brake levers and stem.

The Traverse SL features a 35mm diameter at the stem clamp; this increases strength in this crucial zone, while also dissipating the bar clamp load across a larger surface area. More secure clamping, and a stronger handlebar - these are good things. Meanwhile, our extensive experience with carbon fiber allows us to ensure maximum strength at the clamp and then tailor the carbon fiber layup to providing damping at the bar-ends, resulting in a more comfortable, less fatiguing ride.
