Storied Italian frame manufacturer Cinelli created a do-everything track machine with its Vigorelli LTD frameset. The bike's more forgiving geometry – a 73 degree head tube angle and 74.5 seat tube angle in the 54cm frame – combined with the Columbus straight blade carbon fork's 35mm rake make it a great mass start track event bike as well as a worthy street fixie with some serious velodrome cred.
Columbus Airplane oversize 7005-T6 aluminum tubes form a frame that's light, stiff, responsive, and quick. Spin fast and turn left around your favorite oval, or hit the city streets with some serious style.
The Columbus carbon fork has a tapered aluminum steer tube that goes from 1.125 inches to 1.5 inches for extra stiffness and responsive handling. The fork is also drilled to accommodate a front brake for any road riding, and a plug covers the hole for velodrome purists.
In addition to the frame and fork, a 42mm Campagnolo headset is included, as is a seat post clamp. The frame accepts a 31.6mm seat post.
The Vigorelli LTD has horizontal dropouts, as any track frame should, to allow easy chain tension adjustment, and the included replaceable stainless steel dropout inserts help to keep the rear wheel in place under load. The frame takes a standard 68mm English bottom bracket and a rear wheel with a standard 120mm track hub.
The frame weighs in at 1500 grams while the fork tips the scales at 560 grams. The Cinelli Vigorelli LTD is road-worthy, track-worthy, and absolutely lust-worthy.
