You’ll turn heads with the unique styling of Giro’s Empire shoes. These glove-like slippers were built to race in the Giro d’ Italia and have airy one-piece Teijin uppers for outstanding fit and feel. The laced closures allow you to dial the fit around the contours of your feet, while cutting the overall weight of the shoes. Easton EC90 carbon soles provide responsive and lightweight platforms to transfer your power straight to the pedals. And, Giro’s SuperNatural fit system optimizes comfort and efficiency for a ride that will keep heads spinning as you fly by.
In order to mount your pedals' cleats to your shoes, they must have matching bolt patterns. There are 3 configurations (diagram) used on cycling shoes, SPD-R, Look/SPD-SL and SPD. Road shoes feature one, two or even all three of these. Mountain-bike shoes usually use the SPD pattern. If you have any questions about cleat compatibility, please contact us. We're here to help!
